Document Conversion

ocuments that require image conversion are usually prepared for scanning by removing the staples and any attachment. This makes them easy to feed through a scanner. After scanning, they are indexed using case numbers, dates of service, patient numbers, and other key data that makes them identifies them uniquely making them easy to find at a later date.
After the scanning process, the images are cleaned up using image processing algorithms and if necessary, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is executed on the PDF making it possible to search for specific words in the document. The images are then visually inspected and indexes double keyed to ensure that the output is of the highest quality.
